​My name is Alyson Hess. I'm a multi-faceted artist, musician, and general creative based in Wylie, Texas. I've been experimenting with different forms of artistry since my childhood, growing up in The Colony, Texas. I've had some training through Collin College, and that's where I discovered that art was something I wanted to seriously pursue. At Collin, I took a 'Drawing 1' class and fell in love with making visual art.
Since being out of college, I've been going down an artistic journey to discover my unique way of telling stories. Through my art, I become my most expressive self. I have always been a highly emotional person, and with my art I'm able to achieve emotional expression through a visual experience. Through primarily portraits, I'm able to convey my personal messages through exaggerated facial expressions, and composition. I'm always searching for a more authentic way to tell a story and every new thing I try is an experiment.
