​I have been stitching on fabric for the past twenty years. For me, the stitched line is as seductive as a drawn line; it can speak softly or have a strong presence. In the past few years, I have transitioned that line to paper using various media. I still find that line, in its many forms, is the starting and ending point for my artwork. In 2008 I received my MFA in studio art from the University of North Texas. I taught 2D and 3D design for 8 years. The influence of my professors and fellow students, and well as the students I taught, has contributed to my developing art practice.
