This letter is a call for artists to submit work for art en Blanc: Everything White
Our artists have found this very challenging yet have been able to create a beautiful collaborative exhibition. My expectation for this show is to paint without color only using white a touch of grey, and burnt sienna mixed with white or featuring white as the main statement. Take on the challenge: you will create something you never thought you could do.
The gallery’s desire is to create a space for emerging artists of a visionary nature. Whether self-taught or raised within the disciplines of art, we believe that the essence of true artistic expression comes from an earnest desire to say something. We aim to facilitate the artist by promoting the exhibition and sale of art to the public and local art population, while hoping to create a hub for an emerging art community. We have had a wonderful response to each of our shows and hope you will join us in creating a new dimension to art in Frisco. All artists are encouraged to submit work for consideration of this upcoming exhibit. All exhibits will be curated and not all work submitted will be exhibited.
TIMELINE :
Submissions due: on or before Midnight Sunday 17th August 2025
Acceptance Notification: Tuesday 19th August 2025
Delivery: 3 - 5pm Monday 1st September 2025
Reception: 7-9pm Friday 12th September 2025 | Open Friday 19th and 26th September
Pick Up: 3 - 5pm Monday 29th September 2025
FEE: of 1-3 pieces $35 > 3 $5 for each piece after 3 images:
thegallery8680 acts as agent for exhibition and sales. thegallery8680 may photograph art & artist for purposes of publicity & promotion. thegallery8680 is not liable for any loss, damage or theft as a result of any actions by persons unrelated to the gallery.
Packing, insurance & transport to and from the gallery is the responsibility of the artist. The artist receives 70% & thegallery8680 receives 30% of final sale (including negotiated) price.
Work not accepted or sold must picked up by the pick-up date noted above, a storage fee of $10 will incur. All art not picked up within thirty days of the pick-up date noted above, will become the property of thegallery8680. Sales proceeds will be paid out no later than 2 weeks after end of show.
